Thursday mornings at Christ Church begin with a short service of Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) at 10am. This is followed by refreshments and at 11am there is an opportunity for those who want to participate in chairobics.  At 12 midday, lunch is delivered and the meal is accompanied by a raffle and  bric-a-brac stall. Occasionally children from our church school come along to sing songs and join the party.

There are also regular outings organised for older people including regular lunches out in the Peak District, together with trips to the shops and occasional  theatre trips.

Offers friendship, support and encouragement for those who are isolated. For more details
